My Biography

Short Biography of Gospel Singer - Robinette Reed

Robinette C. Reed was born in Beaumont, TX to the late Robert Simon and Mrs. Edna Kidd. She began singing at an early age in the junior choir at Second Missionary Baptist Church, in Yuma, AZ, and later advanced to the youth choir and has been singing and ministering ever since. She was later privileged to serve on the International Praise & Worship Team in 2002-2004, under the leadership of Bishop William H. Murphy III.

Additionally, she was fortunate to serve as Assistant Worship Leader under Elder Alma Kirkendall at Greater Progressive Christian Church in 2001-2007. Through these experiences she has learned that worship is more than a song, it’s our life. Currently she serves as the Head of Department of The Highest Praise, Music Ministry at RCCG Solid Rock Phoenix.

Under the parental guidance of Mr. & Mrs. Kidd she began to seek God and accepted the call to minister and evangelize in April 2002, and was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ by Pastor L. Gary Ransom at Greater Progressive Christian Church on February 1, 2004. Later, under the leadership of Pastor & Dr. Ezekiel Ojo she was ordained a Deaconess in the Redeemed Christian Church of God on June 18, 2014, Pastor E. A Adeboye, General Overseer.

Professionally, Robinette is a Family Nurse Practitioner and currently works at Integrated Medical Services, where she cares for her patients with empathy and compassion. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2009 and completed the Master of Science in Nursing/FNP in August 2012, from Grand Canyon University.

Her heart’s desire and passion is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, through music and the preached word. She wants the world to know that no matter what you’ve done or where you have been, Jesus Christ, will reach way down, pick you up and save your soul.

Robinette Reed is happily married to Mr. Garyah Reed and they are blessed with two beautiful children, Garyah and Teizu.
